About ME
Hi my name is Sarah Widdup and I’m an acoustic guitarist and singer. If you’re looking to add a touch of live music to your special day/ event/ venue, I would be thrilled to be a part of it.

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of performing at various esteemed venues and events. Some of my notable residencies include The Botanist in Leeds and The Pottingshed in Bingley, Guiseley, Harrogate, Southport, Beverley, and Northallerton.
Additionally, I have been fortunate enough to work with UEFA Champions League performing in iconic stadiums such as Old Trafford, Etihad, Wembley, Emirates, King Power Stadium, Anfield, and Stamford Bridge.
I have also been involved in live entertainment for sporting events for the Bradford Bulls at the Odsal Top, Leeds United at Elland Road, Bradford City at Valley Parade, the Tour de France, Tour de Yorkshire, The British Grand Prix at Silverstone, and have been part of Bingley Music Live for four consecutive years.
My music has brought joy to crowds at KWVR events, beer festivals, and I have had the pleasure of collaborating closely with The Gin festivals throughout the years. During 2023 I performed as a backing singer for Michelle John in the Derren Brown Live Stage show The Showman.
Notably, I even had the honour of performing in front of royalty at the opening of Sunbridgewells in Bradford for Princess Anne.

Create an atmosphere of tranquillity during your drinks reception and pre-wedding banquet as I weave gentle acoustic melodies that allow your guests to savour the joyous occasion.
3. The Wedding Breakfast
As you make your grand entrance into the wedding breakfast, experience a tailored musical ambiance that complements the emotional depth of your speeches, making this moment truly memorable.
4. The Cocktail Hour
Kick off the celebrations with upbeat tunes during the cocktail hour, enticing your guests to dance and celebrate before the evening unfolds or as guests start to arrive.
5. The Evening Reception
Enjoy two hours of live, party-ready acoustic music, interspersed with a personalized MP3 playlist during my breaks. Let the celebration continue seamlessly with a musical journey crafted just for you and your guests.

I can also learn songs of your choice for walking down the aisle or first dance.
FAQ
Additional Services:
Should you wish to personalise your wedding music experience, I charge a small fee to learn a song if this is not already part of a package – this can be used for a first dance, walking down the aisle or just something special. But obviously this isn’t a necessity as I know lots of songs!
Deposit and Payment Details:
To secure your booking, I kindly request a non-refundable deposit of £100. Full payment is due one week prior to the big day, allowing you to focus on the joy of your wedding without any last-minute concerns.
Travel:
For venues located more than 1 hour away from BD17, a nominal travel charge will apply.
Insurance and Certificates:
Rest assured, I am fully insured and PAT tested. If your venue requires a copy of my certificates, just let me know and I can promptly send them.
